New to the Group

  Hi All!

I am a single mom with a 2.75 year old boy.  He is being tested for autism on the 23rd of July.  Aj has a very minimal vocabulary & scored severely low on his speech evaluation.  I feel alone & sad.  He is a wonderful boy & the spark in my heart.

Welcome. My son was dx at a young age. Lack of communication skills (both non-verbal & verbal) was the main reason I talked to a doctor. My son is 5 now. He's come a long way. It's hard to hear, but getting help early is better.

The beginning of this journey is often the most difficult. It's important to have support so stick around and ask as many questions as you'd like. The moms here are so amazing. :-)
