DH has actually jumped onto the research bandwagon (I haven't done any in a long time), after seeing how our son acted during vacation (and how he has been acting for the longest time--but DH is an oil field worker, so has not gotten to spend as much time with him as I have over the past year). Starting to suspect that the school district psychologist was right in her suspicion that he may have ADHD.
Well, the school district doesn't test until age 6 (which he doesn't turn until the end of March, plus we plan to homeschool him). I'm not even sure how to get him tested for it. I'm still trying to get a referral for the developmental pediatrician that I want to take him to see. My insurance doesn't require it, but she does. Pain in the you know what!
Anyway, DH was reading that coffee (well caffiene) has the opposite effect for ADHD kids than it does for us neurotypical folks. Have any of you had experience with that?
