found out what works for my step son! yay!!!!
I'm totally new at dealing with autism with my two step kids because of how different every kid is.and I'm so proud of myself for figuring him out! Naps! I've notices when we have him he starts acting up and having his meltdowns about the same time everyday. Today I sent him to his room and told him to go ahead and take a nap to see if his attitude changed. It was only a short one no more the 45 min. And he came out awesome in a way better mood and even apologized for his behavior and has even been on better behavior since the nap. we talked about it and I asked him if he felt better and would like to start taking naps at the same time each day he agreed! Granted this is only day one I'm really happy about it and able to make progress with him!

I've been here for a while now but it's been mainly how to deal with my younger brother and i was worried when my daughter was born that she might have aspregers considering dh has two sons with it. thanks for the welcome! and yeah I'm so so so glad! it's now day two and he is again doing really really good!
