*update* got a phone call and an apology!

So i posted how i was trying to get David re assigned to Floranada come fall so all my boys will be in the same school. Well i posted they denied him and they also denied him the scholarship aswell. The denial letters basicly said it was because his IEP and Floranada couldn't meet his IEP requirements. Well duh, the problem was the ese department dropped the ball and never amended his IEP to state he was going to kindergarten come fall. It said he was still in preschool. Floranada doesn't have a preschool program. So that's why he got denied. I got a phone call from his schools ese head and she apologized and is correcting his IEP. She is emailing the people on charge of the john mckay scholarship and notifying them of the mistake and that she had corrected his IEP and they should re evaluate my application. So i was told to give them a few days then call them to see if i can get him re assigned. Oh, i am crossing my fingers it all gets approved now that its been resolved. I couldn't believe my ears when i got that phone call. It all makes sense now why they kept saying its because his IEP. Wow!

*update*
I got the approval letter by email today! I went straight to Floranada and registered him for kindergarten. I'm so happy it all worked out. The lady was telling me they denied someone else and the mother was so upset. I feel bad for her. I was starting to think he wasn't going to get in. Thank you all for all your support!
