about my PolarBear 5K goal for my 30th birthday. I explained that every year for my birthday I try to have some kind of goal and have since the time I can remember. They all thought this was odd. I guess you could call it a bucket list but I do it in attainable steps and goals. Am I the only person who does this? Is it really that odd?

I don't do it, but that doesn't make it odd.  In fact, I think it's a great idea!

I had one in my 20s and I meet most of them..learn how to scuba dive was on it and I did it. The only 3 things was sky diving, graduate from college, and get a good job..I think getting one story and a book published might count towards that, and I did finish two writing course and deplomas for those..I guess those count..

I don't do it for my birthday, but I think it's great. I was hoping to be running half marathons by now ...

I think its great you are doing it, and in no way odd.  I have a mental bucket list guess I should write it down :)  I have crossed off two this year so far.  I have rode in a hot air balloon and took a ride on a zipline.  Having a goal is a good thing :)

LOL!  no it's not odd to have goals.  Just because they've givin' up on life doesn't mean you're odd because you haven't.  :)

Not odd at all.  Every once in a while when I feel stuck I make a few goals, and a lot of times I have my birthday or Christmas as a target date to achieve them.
