I have been off work for a couple of weeks now and had my son home with me, spending time together. Things seemed good. I took him to a day camp this morning to try and give him some more social interaction. We got to the registration table and when he was asked for his last name, he replied "I forget". They ask for his first name and he just looked like a deer in the headlights. I was surprised but more so, embarassed for him. There were lots of kids around that heard this. JD is 8 and I'm really frustrated with the one step forward, 10 steps back. His sister stayed with him today to make sure that he's okay. It's only for 3 hours but my stomach is in knots wondering what else may happen.
