True of False....My ASD child or self is scared or has a phobia of something? If so what?
DS doesn't like spiders, but I wouldn't say it's a phobia... Rollercoasters and other rides are also a no-no in his mind. Also, forget haunted houses! I tried to make him go in one once, it was a disaster! That was several years ago, before a dx.

Quoting Jadnorton:Alec really don't have a phobia of anything he is scared of a lot but no real phobia yet. I have a phobia of brooms sweeping around by feet. My heart rate just increased thinking about it. And of clowns. Where I use to work they had someone dress up as a clown and sweep around me for giggles. I almost had to be transported to the er for my panic attack.
Tristan's afraid of wind blowing and afraid of the dvd player. Oh and dogs, too.
I'm deathly afraid of spiders, clowns, & porcelain dolls!
I don't know if Will has any phobias. I know there are things he doesn't like, but I don't know the extent of it.
I am afraid of heights.
My 4 year old doesn't like taking showers.
My Brady is a little afraid of vacuums. He used to just run away from them even if they were not even turned on. Now he does not want anyone around them, if me or his dad are walking by one he has to guide us with his hand away from it lol. He must think it is going to attack us.
I am scared of any insects.
