Does anyone ever get this? They say there is nothing wrong with him. I try not to let it bother me but just because he has good memorization skills doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with him.

You can be brilliant and be highly deficient in other skills, my son is very bright with a high IQ but he can't tie his shoe laces at 9 or remember to brush his teeth before bed...moms know best!

Yes! It's REALLY frustrating when dealing with his school!!! They still want to just treat him like a behavioral problem.

Lol I just made a similar post.
I love it when ppl compliment my sons intelligence. It's one of the things that he has going for him! But being smart doesn't mean that he doesn't have struggles.

All the time. I think those who aren't familiar with autism seem to think our children can't be very bright.... When in most cases, they are VERY bright!
