School here is on a 2 hour delay.  How does your child handle the change in schedule?

For my kids, they experience a lot of relief since they hate school (high school).  When they were younger and liked school, they adapted fine to the change, thank goodness.

Actually, he's been handling alot of changes so well! It seems like if I explain it to him before hand in a surprised way (like, "Wow! Can you believe it? How crazy!") then he gets the same attitude.

My son in high school now too and loves having the delays but I can remember how it was difficult for him when he was younger, like pre school age.

Mines still in preschool but his school runs the same way. They just stay later so we are not having a problem yet.

We are on a two hour delay also.

This happened to us a few weeks ago. My son was not happy!

My son is too young to understand, so it doesn't really affect him.
