PIOG - Does your child crack his/her knuckles during handwriting?

PIOG - Does anyone have a child that does this?  I don't mind the cracking, but there must be something that is bothering him to make him do this.  Any ideas?  (Will bring up to his OT next week.)

I did notice my 15 year old son cracking his knuckles the other day. Not while writing but just because. It honestly was the first time I ever saw him do that.

I think for some kids it could be a sensory thing. I have always cracked my thumbs...it's just a habit and I know I do it without even thinking about it.

I use to crack my knuckles while writing because my fingers would become stiff and that would loosen them up

No but he sometimes grinds his teeth when he's concentrating. Drives me crazy.
