My son (with Aspergers) has out door Ed this week. I'm so worried

My son is going to camp for three days with his 5th grade classes from school.  I have been informed another schools 5th grade class will be attending also.

I am afraid he will be picked on. I know his classmates know him and are used to his oddities so to say, but I am worried about the other kids from the other school.

My son just had his "outdoor lab" earlier this month and had a blast.  However, a)he's high functioning and b)he's been on many camping trips with his classes over the last few years.

If you and his teacher explain to him what to expect, he should do fine.  Just ask the teacher (who will already be on top of this I'm sure) to keep a close eye on him in case of bullying, etc.

Thank you. He has camped out a lot with scouts but his father or I have been there.

Is there a aide or a parent that can be with your son during this trip to make sure nothing happens. I would be worried too momma. I will keep in my prayers that everything goes fine and that he has a blast while camping
