Anybody's kids with asperger's on ssi?

I have my ssi appt. this morning on the phone. My son has apergers, so I guess is considered mild autism, plus asthma and adhd. Just wondering what kind of questions they'll ask me. Just nervous about the whole thing, haven't gotten the referral for or seen the dp yet either.

We applied for SSI for our son. Mostly they needed proof of ID - plus diagnoses from doctors with them explaining how it affects their life and what treatments you've tried and what hasn't worked. They'd want to know how it makes them disabled and which treatments you are doing (if any.)

My dd is on SSI without a diagnosis, they usually want all medical history/records and all school records

They said I should know something in about 6 months. My dr. told me to apply, so I did. If it's meant to be it'll happen.I don't know what the future holds for us now, I'm just trusting that God knows our needs.

I turned everything in, now just waiting. How long was it before you heard anything?
