The Autism Awareness Giveaway starts 4/2/13 at 9am (ET) and ends 4/30/2013 at 11pm (ET) (the "Giveaway Period"). Enter by replying to this post with an appropriate comment during the Giveaway Period.

Parents and language professionals should actively seek settings where a child will be exposed to typically-developing kid talk. Write peer-appropriate conversation goals into the child’s IEP.

Send your child’s teacher or speech language pathologist a note each Monday listing three things your child did over the weekend. Ask that they engage the child in conversation about these things.
