Hello Ladies,

how long  and how does your ASD  child react to change?

I do not know if it is due to a few changes in our life or if his medication stopped working ( risperidone).

He is so negative lately and is more frequently sad and has meltdowns. He is very high functioning and therefore only receives speech for 60min per week. Our insurance is covering no therapies at all.

I really do not know what to do.

Thank you for "listening" :)

What kind if change sets him off? I'm not sure what that looks like cause our family is very much go with the flow. We don't have regimented schedules and we just go with the flow and do what either needs to be done or what we feel like.

Depends on what kind of change it is to be honest...
