Help with diapers...

If your asd child is still in diapers, what do you use when they want to get wet, like going swimming? My 6 yr old is to big for the little swimmers that pampers and huggies make. Thank you.

What about a  fitted  cloth swim diaper? I'm not sure what sizes they make in those. My child with autism was 4 when he didn't need them anymore and didn't even get to the biggest size of little swimmers because he was so skinny! Good question though..I'm sure others wonder the same or have some experience with this as well.

My daughter is 5 and she still fits into the biggest size available, they are really stretchy at the sides. I just squeeze her into them.

Yeah, there's no way my 6 yr old is gonna fit them. My 3 yr old fits them good though.

My ds is only 3 and we use a swim diaper or swimming trunks. I like the swimming trunks with the added inside piece.

I guess they would be little swimmers. Also have you thought about swim trunks with maybe a pair of boys underwear on. If he has a BM the underwear would help it not leak out. I know you use to be able to buy plastic cover for underwear. I will search and see if I can find the info
