1 mom liked this
My son has done this to :-( he is 2 1/2 and nonverbal. I have never heard of a GPS watch! Very interested! I worry about him running off all the time! I have to keep doors locked and windows down but I have a 3 year old that likes to play in the back yard and sometimes he leaves the door open :-(

I'm almost positive I saw one on autism speaks. My daughter does the same thing! We live in the woods so it freaks me out. We're getting a street sign put up by highway dept. that says "autism child area" they do it for free. Good luck!!

I know that Lowes carries alarms for the doors. They are 2 pieces that have magnets in them. When the magnets are separated on the door from opening the alarms go off. I have them on my doors. They were like $8 for 2 of them. Believe me you will hear them if the doors are opened.

You can also look into past episodes of Ricky lake. She had a show about the watches I believe. They were around 50-60 dollars
