So... we know that Daryl Hannah has an autism diagnosis and someone else mentioned that Dan Akroyd is also on the spectrum

What other celebrities/famous people have/had an autism spectrum disorder?

Not sure but Tommy Hilfiger's daughter and stepson are on the spectrum. He did an ad for Autism Speaks. He grew up around here and the ad is played on the radio quite often.

No idea, but what an inspiration for our children! I get tired of hearing people suggest my asd son is not as intelligent as 'regular' children. These kids can do ANYTHING if they want to, just beginning with acting. Hurray for our asd kids!

Courtney Love is mildly autistic.

And of course Temple Grandin we all know has autism.

I read Tim Burton may have aspergers. I think I read that his wife, Helena Botam Carter (I may have spelled her name wrong) "diagnosed" him. She said she saw a documentary on autism and saw all the characteristics of a person with aspergers in her husband. I don't know if he's been officially diagnosed by a doctor, though.
