can i be paid by the state to care for my son?

My son is four and has severe autism and serious anxiety therefor i cant keep a job because my son freaks out when i leave him with anyone also he cant talk and is not pottytrained. Im not sure what to do help!

What services does he have now?

There is SSI and unemployment.

Depends on the state I think.  I get paid to care for my son through In Home Supportive Services here in California.

In my state, there is a grant where you can do paid parenting for Special Needs children.

Call your county and ask for the Department of Disabilities and Aging. They can provide you with more information.

You CAN apply for services and SSI tho...

Just because he is her child, doesn't mean that she can't be supplemented for lost income. If she cannot work, why not get a stipend for staying at home with her child.

It's pretty much the same as a PCA or a Daycare, except the parent is providing the care.

We all love our children and of course, we take care of them. We do everything that we can.

I personally don't see an issue with a government agency paying a parent rather than a stranger.

We know our children better than any trained professional could.

I don't work.because of my son and he doesn't qualify for anything...

I've heard of some States doing that. Hope yours does too!
