Has your HF child joined any after school activities or clubs?

Colin has talked about wanting to join Math Club and Drama Club at his middle school.  He also attended a Peer Buddies group after school a couple of weeks ago but wasn't impressed with the games they had for the kids to play.

Has your child expressed any sort of interest in after school activities?

Not really...he's not into sports or much of anything unless it involves drawing or electronics..

Yay for Colin for wanting to join the clubs!  My son's not usually interested - first response is to say "no thanks".  But I do sign him up for things (to his dismay!).

He's joined the Service Club (didn't want to go, then had a great time at the first meeting!).  He'll probably do intramurals when soccer and basketball roll around.  Again, he won't want to join, but I know he'll enjoy it.

I try to push him, but never to do anything I feel that he'll dislike or have (too much) anxiety about.

Mt 14 yr. old aspie is in Beta Club, which is during school.

They go on field trips during schoo and it's a good incentive for him to try and maintain a 3.5 in middle school.
