On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy is your child?  Are they typically overall happy or do they fuss, whine, complain often?

Hoping I don't offend anyone with this post...

I will shout it from the rooftops...Brady is THE happiest little boy on the planet!  On a scale of 1 to 10, his happiness is at a 100!!!!!  The smallest things make him laugh or giggle and then he can't stop.  He just loves life and always finds the good in it!

I find that when people find out my son is special needs (without meeting him first), they usually say, "I'm sorry."  They mean well, but I usually tell them that I'm NOT sorry!  He's NOT sorry!  He has nothing to be sorry or sad about.  He's such a happy little boy and he's not missing out on anything in his life, so why should we feel sorry for him?  I try to remind myself of that:)

Right now, I think my son is a 9.

But for a while -- for a long time -- it was a two.

W/ parent training for me and the right school for him, right now we are doing good.

Next yr (kindergarten) who knows? Praying kindergarten will be okay for him.

I'm glad to hear things are better now.  There are always ups and downs.  Brady has rough days and even rough weeks at times.  It will be a HUGE adjustment when he goes to Kindergarten next year...new school, new teachers, new everything!  We are hoping and praying he does well also:)
