I wanted to write something special in the card for this one particular therapist that my son adores and I really want her to know what she means to us.

Poetry is not my strong suit and it may be to long so perhaps someone else can help. This is what I wrote:

When I first met you

I was very scared and would cry

but you treated me with kindness

and understood why.

You worked really hard to get to know me

Now the changes in me are easy to see.

I love when mommy says Cindy is coming today

I get so excited because I know we will laugh and play.

When I do a good job and see the smile on your face

it makes me as happy as a warm embrace.

I want you to know you are important to me

you have helped to start and shape me into the person I will be.

You always praise me and make me feel proud

you have become my best friend and I love when you're around.

so thank you for everything you are doing for me

Happy Valentines day, love Zachary

his name just happens to rhyme lol

good, bad or too much?

Thank you. I think I'm going to make one or two small changes. I wish my son could have her a few extra days a week and longer than June. It's going to be sad when Zachary ages out :(

All but one of Sam providers was available from his transition from early intervention to CPSE. Any chance your district is the same? Or do you know she doesnt see CPSE kids?

She only works 2 days a week doing in home therapy. She has a 15 mo old at home so she doesn't want to work full time.
