cheese and meat platter (Gruyere, pepperoni, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, summer sausage)

Dinner

Desserts

cannoli, napoleons, and assorted cookies.

Im also making a sangria (white) with some assorted chardonnay, cabernets and a reisling for the family. I have some craft beers for the guys...

yeah, but Im jew "ish"... I go to temple for the high holy days and a few other times. hubbys family is protestant. Ive been married in for 16years now... I dont typically like to host "religous" holidays... but no one else is stepping up to the plate.. and I dont want his elderly aunt and sickly uncle doing it.

sounds great, i especially like the fresh smoked local ham thing, i think it always tastes better that way then from a big chain store. i would love someone to cook a meal like that when im out, its always so basic and boring, i used to make a deal like that but it never got appreciated, it became expected. they are lucky to have you do that for them, and i hope they realise it. have a great day!
