Night owl or morning lark?

Is your ASD child a night owl or his s/he a morning person?

DS used to be a morning person, but now that he's entered the teen years, he's become much more of a night owl and enjoys sleeping in in the mornings.

My daughter is definitely a night owl. It's been so hard trying to get her on a semi-normal schedule. If she had it her way, she'd go to bed at 4am and get up at noon or 1pm everyday.

More of a night owl I guess but he likes his sleep. He sleeps about 10-12 hours.

It doesn't matter what time Logan goes to sleep - he is up at 5 am. Lately he has been awake well past midnight and still up at 5 am. He is on several meds for sleep and they seem to have stopped working.

A morning person. He is up every morning around 6, no matter what.

My 13 yr old daughter is more of a night owl. Left to own devices she would go to bed at 11 pm and sleep in till 11 am. She has trouble getting to sleep so if she wakes she can't get back to sleep and panics. Of course that means I am trying to calm her down in the middle of the night.

Both? Neither? He barely sleeps.

Sam wakes between 6:45-7:45... and he typically goes to be about 9:30-10pm.. sometimes he has trouble falling asleep and will read a little longer.

So... neither?

I have one of each! My oldest likes to go to bed at the end of the day.... My youngest could stay up all night if we let him.

It depends if he took a nap that day or not. If he had a nap then he usually stays up late. But he is usually up by 7:30 or 8 in the mornings.
