what happens during IEP meetings?

What do they mean? Do they give this information to their next teacher?

IEP meetings are between parents ,student , teacher , psychologist , administration, school nurse, Case manager, and maybe OT, behaviorist, or speech therapists....
The plan is to devise the best educational plan for your child.
It lasts for a year and is passed to the next teacher. You can call for a review of the plan at any time. Do it in writing. That's it:)

It stands for individualized education plan... These are all goals or accommodations they will make for you child. It is meant just for her to help meet her needs. It changes as she progresses or needs change. It is information that let's the staff of the school know what issues are, how to modify and meet her needs,
