Colin is working on just slowing down a little on his school work so that he gets things right the first time and doesn't have to redo the work.

What is your child working on right now?

My son is the same with his spelling and writing.  He is also working on his pragmatic language skills.  He is doing much better now.

They each have about 10 IEP goals and 15-20 ABA goals.

Getting his butt to school.... Lol...

As aways, his pragmatic language, his dialogue, his emotional self control, advocating appropriately for himself.

He has 3 speech goals with 6 objectives to each one, math and literacy goals with 5 objectives to each one, social/emotional and social interaction goals with 5 objectives to each, and 2 OT goals with 5 objectives to each.

Then he has private speech, OT, and PT. he has 3 goals under each of those too.

But the things that I am working on at home is behavior and social skills. Such as sharing.

Anna: control. She has hit a plateau with her medicine and is just as out of control of heE body and emotions as she was before. severely sensory seeking. Kicks her brothers to get them to hit her. Lying- not even sure she knows the difference.

Micah- aggression and property destruction. we have to get the aggression under control before I'm unable to physically handle him. I can work with him in the regressive side of Dr jeckel And Mr Hyde. But it changes so quick.

We are waiting to get an appt with a behavioral management specialist. Hoping for great help.

Colin sounds like my ADHD son. He got a 58% because he wanted to finish first. He retook it and made 100%.

Ds is working on comprehension, word problems, using words for requests and initiating play with peers.
