Great Day!

One thing that always concerned me with my teen Aspie was his isolation: he never had many friends and when he had one, he made no effort to keep them and they drifted away. He only wants to talk online. Well we've had a rough couple weeks with him isolated even more because of an illness that put him in the hospital for ten days. But we finally got some good news on Friday about that - yay! And today he went out for the afternoon with a friend who seems really nice. They went to the park and for coffee and then to another friend's house. I am just so happy, I wanted to post it somewhere. :)

Yay! I'm always happy when my teen son wants to leave his room too. I get it.

Awwwwwww, sounds like one of those moments where you breathe a sigh of relief and just feel in your heart that things are going to be okay!

So wonderful :)

I'm glad he's doing better now and that he went out with friends.  It's hard for my 14 year old son to make and keep friends, so I get how awesome that is!
