Think its a glorified heart monitor?
I mean, I wonder if it reads the bodies phisiological response to stress (sweat, elevated heart rate) would it go off during happy times or exercise?

Depending on the sensors and algorithms used, they can separate negative and positive sympathetic nervous system activation. I looked and could not find any science or NIH testing, so would hesitate using on children without a experienced persons interpretation of the signal. I would also be concerned on how they provide security for the data.
