Hey there

Hey there, I'm Ally and my son's name is Dallas. Dallas is almost three and I think that he might fall on the Autism spectrum and have possible behavioral issues. I am a single mom just trying to keep it all together. Some days are harder than others. Dallas is in speech therapy twice a week and I'm trying to find a good preschool to put him in. His father is not supportive of the decisions I've made and thinks nothing is wrong. I'm looking for support of any kind because I feel a tad lost and alone. If there's any words of encouragement you can give me please share.

My son has a speech delay, he babbles a lot, doesn't give a lot of eye contact, sometimes bangs his head when he's mad, he picks at his eczema sometimes. Just some things I've noticed.

Has he been evaluated by your local school system?

Welcome to the group! You need to take him to a dermatologist to have it checked out. I deal with Vitiligo which is a form of autoimmune disease. Does he have any white spots from it?

Hey welcome. I joined this group in the beginning of our journey and it has been so wonderful getting to know these ladies who can truly understand what it's like.

Welcome! It's SO common for dads to think their boys are fine. So common!

Hang in there, keep up with the therapy, and take one day at a time.

Who does the speech? School or private?
