Not as much as when Ashton was younger.. I am an anxious person in general but I am also able to let loose and have fun.. My hubby keeps me balanced :)

Right now, no.

SN moms have stress equal to PTSD soldiers..... Is it considered stress if it's a constant state of being?

More like constantly depressed. I'm constantly anxious if I'm any place other than home when I'm with my son. I get stressed at times, but I've accepted I'm not going to ever have a life now that I have kids with Autism.

I'm so glad I found this post. I thought I was going crazy. I have one child that, after 4 years of arguing with his doctors, they finally agreed to refer my son to testing and the results were that he had autism. After years of being told I was just a crazy hysterical mom. I could even tell them specifics. Not just "he doesn't seem like other kids." Now I'm in the process of doing it again for one of my 4 year old twins. It's been really rough.

Do you have an article regarding this? I'd love to read it.
