Is it Lori the actress that you don't like and/or Lori in the comics?
I was reading the post of favorite and worst characters and noticed Lori was one of the most disliked characters - I am one of those who feels that way.
I don't really like the actress that plays Lori.She is very irritating to me. But it got me wondering does everyone hate the actress that plays Lori or did everyone hate Lori in the comic books?
I don't mind Lori in the comics. In the comics I think she's fairly sane. However, in the comics Shane is disposed of way earlier than in the show, so it's hard to say if "comic Lori" would have been annoying in that way as well.
I understand why they kept Shane for season 2, without him they would have had even less plot than we ended up having, they would have had to take the storyline in a totally different direction to fill up 13 episodes. Because they kept him around we all ended up hating Lori and her whish-washyness. As with everything else, blame Shane LOL.
I didn't read the comics, I started disliking Lori at the close of the final season.

In the show, it's not the actress..it's the character leaving her kid unattended all over the zombie apocalypse and the whole taking off to find Rick crap
