when did you start potty training and why

i started potty training yesterday shes had 2 wet diapers (after bed time and nap time) and peed/pooped every time i put her on the pot :) she will be 13 months on the 23rd

i started because once this baby comes it will be alot harder to start

My children were both 2 1/2 years when I started and I started them because they showed interest. I have heard of kids your daughter's age becoming potty trained. If she seems interested and doing well keep it up.

My first I started at 14 months shortly before my.2nd child. It literally took until a week before her 3rd bday. But because I let her decide she trained in one day. My son will be 3 this week. He's heading for the same as my oldest. My youngest is almost 17 months. I honestly can't see a child that age trained esp when your out. But its nice to start. It does take a lot of accidents. The way I do it. I introduce a lot. But let them decide. They are smart and know. But when you want them to it doesn't alwsys work. So my approch trains them without any accidents!
