how do you stop honey from crystallizing? And when it does is there a good way to fix it?

I've heard if you put the jar in a water bath on the stove, low heat, it will uncrystalize.

I just hit ours up slowly and stir it every few minutes. In no time it's back in smooth honey shape. I've even taken a jar that was solid! and did this to it. No problem.

Is there anything you can do to prevent it from happening?

Eat it quicker!

Seriously I don't think there really is. You have to keep it in a cool area away from direct sunlight but that's about it. The good thing is that honey doesn't spoil so don't worry about those crystals. Just warm it up a bit and stir.

I have a friend who water baths hers into pint jars and doesn't seem to have a problem with it crystallizing
