This may seem like a silly question, but I will ask anyway. I want to start looking for jobs I can do from home..I've always worked outside the home and want to switch. Where can I start looking?? Any words of advice as to places to search or jobs to look for? I know these are broad questions, and may require more info from me--that's fine. I just don't know how to begin my search.....

Thanks!:)

Of course it's not a silly question, that's what this group is for!

Most wah "jobs" would require you to have a quiet environment or some special skills or equipment that you would have to pay for, so keep that in mind.

On the other hand, there are TONS of home businesses, but those take time to build, especially if you're wanting to replace (instead of supplement) your income.

Check out my webpage to get some ideas on the links page.  You should definitely follow the link to Sabrina's closet and spend some time looking there, because she's got lots of jobs listed.

Good luck in your search!!

Not a silly question. Have you heard of Arbonne International? I earn money doing makeup and/ or health & wellness presentations. If you want to know more email me. Thanks, Kathy

Before I became a sahm I worked in the Trade Show Industry. I handled all the auto shows for Volvo cars (logistics). Show Services is a big part of a auto show. Possibly search for exhibit houses in your area that may need someone off site to fill out forms and follow up (making sure that these forms are received by deadline date...such as electrical, carpet, floral, I&D, labor, transportation). You can also contact the large convention centers if you have any in your area. Or do a search for the larger show management companies such as Champion, Freeman, and see if they need help.
If you can get in to this industry, it's alot of fun.
BUT...if you ever want a home business then give my a call. I'm with Gold Canyon.

Best to you in your search.

I agree with motherofanaries, many of the home computer jobs require alot of time and focus away from what you want to be home for, your kids. In my search, I knew I would have to look hard. I have two kids, one of them is autistic and I homeschool...so I don't have alot of time to do stuff online. I finally found something that I can do in my sporadic extra time and make money. I can also help needy children through the company's charities.

Check out my profile and see if that would be something of interest to you. If so, send me a message!
