I've made 2. They were pretty basic though. I have boys. No need for them in our house. I'll post a picture when I'm back on my computer.

Here is my latest tutu.  I am working on some this weekend for a custom order and will post that picture later.

Sorry the quality of the pic sucks. It was a cell phone shot. I painted the shirt as well. It was a birthday present. I made the sister one that was purple, pink and silver with purple ribbon strips and a shirt with a purple S and polka dots.

Hi, you can use either ribbon or elastic.

If you use elastic, take the waist measurement and then subtract about two inches because it will stretch.  Take the length that you want the tutu, double it and add in inch.  For instance, if you want a 10 inch tutu, you would cut your tulle pieces about 21 inches long.  Basically you just tie it on the elastic with a slip not until its all full.

If you use ribbon, measure the waist and add 14 inches on each side and tie a knot on each side.  Tie the tulle on the ribbon between the knots.

I would recommend that you use the tulle right off the roll since its easier and quicker to cut the tulle.

Have fun, and if you have any other questions, you can pm me and I will answer them for you.

Yes, but I now sew mine.  My girls are super active & like to climb, so they would get tangled up in the strips.
