Quoting jryberg:Good luck with the quiting! Your health is worth the hard work.
Then it will get easier
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! We believe in you and you're not alone. I know SHELL3M is trying to quit smoking as are a few other ladies in this group!
It smells bad
I don't like my ch ild being around people who smoke.
I think smoking is absolutely disgusting
your teeth get very bad from smoking
you dont' smell good when you smoke.
of course these are general yous! lol
I smoked for several years and it wasn't until I got pregnant with my oldest that I was able to quit. You definitely can do it! I lost my dad 10 years ago to lung cancer. My parents were happily married and just ready to retire when he got sick and died 9 months after he was diagnosed. He died in my moms arms at home:( Now that I see how much my mom is still affected 10 years later I am sooooo glad that I quit smoking. Just think of your family and friends and how much it would affect them if you were gone. You can reverse most of the damage that has been done to your lungs if you quit.
I sound so horribly morbid, but that is my reason as to why you should quit:) If you can get through what you've already been through in your life you can definitely, without a doubt, quit smoking.
