Well I would say you should quit since you have possted about wanting to try and have another child.  Why would you subject your baby to those chemicals and possible health issues if you can control it.

 It stinks....

I am not (nor have I ever been) a smoker but my dad smoked while I was growing up. Now he smokes cigars and I HATE how everything stinks after we have been at my parents for a visit.  Even if we don't go in basement which is where he smokes we still smell when we leave.

You can do it!!! I did when we were trying for baby. I know you hear all the health stuff as I did constantly, yet it wasnt enough sadly. I must say I feel so good, I smell good and I have SO much extra money now. Hundreds of dollars every month. Already got two cc bills paid in full in 6 months...just from cig $. And girl, food and smells - its amazing the change. Do it do it do it!!! You can!!

I smoked for several years and it wasn't until I got pregnant with my oldest that I was able to quit.  You definitely can do it!  I lost my dad 10 years ago to lung cancer.  My parents were happily married and just ready to retire when he got sick and died 9 months after he was diagnosed.  He died in my moms arms at home:(  Now that I see how much my mom is still affected 10 years later I am sooooo glad that I quit smoking.  Just think of your family and friends and how much it would affect them if you were gone.  You can reverse most of the damage that has been done to your lungs if you quit.

I sound so horribly morbid, but that is my reason as to why you should quit:)  If you can get through what you've already been through in your life you can definitely, without a doubt, quit smoking.
