a little help please

I have never sewn before on a machine. My mom has a machine in the house and I want to turn my dd recieving blanckets into pillows. Is it very hard to do? Any sugestions would be wonderful.

I just started sewing and i find it very easy to make a pillow .. check you tube theres lots of tutorials there :)

Pillows or pillowcases are very simple to make and would make a great starter project. You could google - "pillow tutorials" and come up with tons of different tutorials to choose from.

honestly that is probably the easiest project you could start with. Youtube is your friend, use it. You will be surprised how many useful vids you will find while you are crafting/sewing

It's easy! First read the manual. Learn howto wind the bobbin, load it into the machine, and threadthe machine - do it several times for practice!! Then get some fabric, and old cotton shirt maybe, and just practice getting a feel for it. Then maybevtry a pillow or 9 patch table runner for practice with straight lines.
