Cascade Scarf Sadness

I thought i had enough yarn to make a cascade scarf out of purple for my daughter but i was wrong. This is what it was turning out to look like.

and then two inches from being finished i ran out of yarn. So i had to take out the entire last row and this is what it looks like now. Do i just leave it or should i add another row with some black yarn?  I'm so sad i ran out of that yarn. This is old yarn so i can't go match it and buy another skein :(

I think it looks nice the way it is without the black.

yeah, i think it looks ok too. I'm just sad that i couldn't add that extra row of dtr stitches. It isn't as full looking as it should be.

I like how it is!

However, if you do want it longer, I'd add the black.

Thanks. I think I'm going to leave it and make another one the other way.
