Hey ladies! I got my hair chopped today and gonna donate 11in! I'm super excited. I'm donating to Wigs4Kids so that I know my hair will go to a child.
Have you donated hair? How much? I hope to be able to do this again some time.

got a lil color put in, but my hair is SO dark it doesn't show like I wanted it. Plus I didn't want red, but a honey golden color and it turned out red. hahahahaha!
I dove donating my hair. I go through periods of keeping it so long I can sit on it, to really short. Last time it was barely able to make the minimum length, which is so weird for me!

That is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I would've had 2-3 more inches to donate but I don't like my neck shaved (plus my hair is so thick and dark so it looks funny growing back). I also have had the SAME lady cut my hair since middle school. hahahaha!

That's great you could do that my hair is long but I don't ever plan on cutting it. Last time it was short I was in the 2nd grade.
I think if I remember right it's the golden hair dye that gives the reddish tints I Could be wrong.I try to stay away from them as I have a lot of red in my family. I always seem to end up with some red tints anyway.
You know, a LONG time ago when my SIL was doing hair I let her try many different dyes out on my hair (it was about shoulder length or so then). And red never took!!! Then this time I wanted golden (not really blonde) and my hairdresser actually did 2 shade lighter plus put more peroxide in it b/c I wanted it inb/w. So weird how differently hair takes color. Oh, and she also left it on my hair longer. Oh well......maybe I'm not destined to have light brown. hahahaha! :)

I donated a long time ago when I had long hair. It was over 24 inches, my hair was down to my knees and I cut it to my ears.
I have donated twice. I can't remember how much the first time but well over 12 in I went from my butt to my chin! The Second time it was my butt to just above my shoulders. I did locks of love.
