Its a 4 week class.
Is it worth it?
I took one from the community center and had a great time! Not something I would normally do, but my SIL asked me to join her and I learned something new. Now if you really don't plan on making cakes, definitely consider the cost of the class and supplies if it is "just for the sake of learning".
Quoting Balancing:I have always wondered this! if you decide to take one, come back and post!

I took the Wilton classes at Michaels and I loved it. It was definitely worth the price.
When I registered for the class, I recieved coupons towards the supplies. During the first class you don't need much as far as supplies go. I suggest buying the basic decorating kit and just add to it.
My sister and I took all 4 classes. Although, I did it for fun, I have made some money making cakes. I just tend to get way to stressed out. Lol
This is the kit I started with
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Yahhh...i was gonna take it at michaels but they didnt have an instructor so hobby lobby has classes avaliable. It a 4wk class every monday for $20.25? I thought it would of cost more...but I heard you have to buy your own supplies which is pretty expensive? What shpuld I expect? I hoping this can be a career for me to make money and be a stay at home mom
