I got a new tablet and would really like to make a cover for it. I have looked and looked and have not found a tutorial to sew one. Anyone know where I can find a free sewing tutorial or pattern for a cover for a tablet ?

I'm looking too but I want to make one with thick cardboard in the middle so I can protect it more.

I hadnt thought of cardboard! I was planning on using "hat interfacing" ( I am sure that is not what it is called but it is really thick interfacing)

I actually bought my daughter a coloring book and it had a piece of cardboard in it to keep the shape and that is what gave me the idea.

I have no experience with interfacing. When a pattern says it I just don't make it. LOL

I made a Kindle case and used chip board. 2 years old and still going strong! I just got a tablet too and once my protectove case gets here, I am just making a sleeve for that. Let me see if I have a pic of my kindlr case.

Oh, and to get chip board cheap, we just ripped apart some old binders. Its hard to cut. I used an exacto knife and struggled. So if I ever do something like that again, I will use a blade attachement on our dremmel tool.
