Do you take advantage of the sales at the crafting stores and plan around them?
Do you have a list of projects in mind and the stuff they need that you have yet to get?
I find myself doing more than one project at and given time. I have dozens that are not done, and just sitting waiting on either one more supply or the motivation to do them. I keep a list of things I need to purchase for each project, but looking at the list, it looks like I am trying to build a bomb or something lmao! It's such random stuff that doesn't get used together, but looking at it all on a list, it's odd. Anyway, I look at the sales every week and then determine if I am going that way and if there is anything on said list that is on sale.
You know what irks me? The yarn I need to finish my blanket is ALWAYS on sale at Joann's and they are the only one that carry it. The sale stinks! It's originally like $10 and the sales make it for $6.99 at the cheapest. I want to use a damn 50% off coupon, but it doesn't work for sale items! I have contemplated going there and asking them to charge me full price and then using the coupon, but I hesitate because they already don't like me. When I go I wind up with 1-2 full shopping carts of fabric they cut into 1/2 or 1 yard pieces, I feel like an ass, but it's all I want. Then I have a bunch of 50% and 40% off coupons for random stuff I need and the fabric.
