What's your favorite craft project?

We gave a couple of moms the opportunity to host a Stampin' Up! party for a group of their friends. Check out some of these great photos and quotes from the parties.

flowerfunleah says: I hope you can see the lovely embossed results on my red paper there! The design was super super pretty and I was so proud of myself aftewards lol. The stamps were so pretty! If you look closely we used two different colors of yellow ink, a mustard yellow and then a brighter yellow on top of that to create that cool effect. Annnd you'll see a silver heart on there. Thanks so much cafemom for giving me this opportunity, my guests and I had a great time and I'm sure we'll be using Stampin' Up in the future!

CStech says: We made these really cute and EASY place card holders made with clothes pins (I think I might use mine to hold a picture and put it on my desk). It was a wonderful time!  I am addicted to Stampin' Up stamps because they have a punch to match a majority of their stamps!!!  I filled up a whole order sheet of items!  YIKES!!!  Thank you Stampin' Up for letting me host a party and thank you to CafeMom who chose me to be a host.  It was a pleasure and guess what?  I CAN make an invite like the one I sent out after this party!

I have never heard of them. I think it is a really neat idea. There are all kinds of home parties and I think this would break up the boredom that are associated with most home parties.

I did my party last Saturday. We had fun even though we only had 2 other adults show. It ended up bieng the first weekend for kids sports so we had a lot of no shows but I shared the catalogs . I left catalogs at the school for the teachers to buy so we will see. Even though we didn't have a great turn out we still had a fun time . My consultant was awesome we made a couple projects . The one card we made was very time consuming ,and difficult . I have been making cards and scrapbooking for years and it was long for me . She had one cutting machine and we had to run it thru 9 times for the one card so we all took turns. Other than that we had fun talking crafting and buying. Unfortunately I'm mobile so I will add some pics . This pic is of the food station minus the meatballs that was in the kitchen since they were in the crock pot. I want to thank cafemom and stampin up for the oprtunity , and the gift card. I purchased meatballs ,the cranberries , chili sauce , strawberries,whipped cream,chocalate cake , lemonade , pop, cheese ball, crackers, spin dip, plates, napkins, tablecloths. The condtultsnt providided all craft supplies including clue, paper and she had all kits put togther for each of us very organized and neatly done for us. My demonstrator was great she was able to answer all questions from us and was able to give us lots of ideas. My guest had a good time . They liked the invites and the cards we did but also agreed that the card we did with the apples took a long time. We used a bone thing that smoothed are folds on our cards I want one but need to figure out the real name. We also used thier awesome stamp pads that were so easy to use and you didn't have to press hard and they stamped beautifully . The only product I didn't like was the white card stock because we were using the spray in it and it leaks thru since the white was thin paper.
