Someone I know was going to make a new blankie for my 2 year old hoping she would go for it. Her current favorite blankie we don't do anything without is completely tattered. So I bought the yarn and facebooked her. She hasn't been on though so I tried calling her and her number has been changed!!
I'm going to cry. Or hyperventilate or something. I don't know how to crochet so I cant make her a new one! I already bought the yarn for it. Any ideas??

I'm sure one of the nice ladies in this group could do it for you! i don't know how much they would charge, but that would be between you and them :)

Can you show me a picture of the type of blanket you need made and about how big? There are many crocheters on this board Im sure someone can help you out =) If you can send me or a post a photo of the blanket you need made, I may be able to make it for you after I finish up my current sewing orders.

I would say it's 3 ft x 3 ft

The person I know already fixed the corners because they were like this but now there's a hole forming just inside where she fixed it!

without this thing she won't sleep, she won't ride in the car, she won't do anything!!

Crocheting is something I can sit back and do while I watch my evening shows. I cant do that with sewing ;-)

I could try for you, I just need to know what pattern it is. I have no projects at the moment so I don't mind helping :)

thank you :)

And I have no idea!  I don't know anything about crocheting really.  I'd ask the person who made it but she thinks I should just tell her the "blankie fairy" came to take it for the babies.  Yeah, that's not going to work!

LOL exactly! I have music on while sewing but if I try to watch shows while I sew then I just end up rewinding the show because I cant focus on both at the same time!
