I am trying to decide if I am brave enough to attempt one of these patterns. I am still learning to crochet but none of these look too bad.

Super cute. I made this one without a pattern just sort of winged it :)

I let Hudson pick and he wanted the skull hat. So I am trying it. Just need to figure out how to make the size bigger.

To make it bigger jsut add increasing rounds.

Are you a tight crocheter or loose?
Im a tight crocheter and I always do 10 base stitches(unless its a newb hat) then 4 increaseing rows makes a 18in hat which fits my 3 and 5 yr old normally. 3 increase makes a 16 in hat and a 5 increase makes a 20 in hat. Basically every increase round adds 2 inches.

That is what I did. Then it looked HUGE. So I am taking them back out. I think my sorta loose stitches are going to make it around the right size.
