pattern ?

i got some mccalls craft american girl patterns even 10 yrs ago, they would have said cut 2 on fold for like shirt backs and stuff now they just give 2 patterns is sewing a dying art, or is america getting so dumb they need a pattern for each sleeve?

Or they got complaints...I know a lot of patterns that are designed for younger children have that issue, too, even ten years ago...my mom and aunt have been sewing for years...

lol. i got a pattern and instead of saying cut on the fold, it had the whole symmetrical piece. took up a huge amount of room. i was like o.O

I have had a few like that. Though most were childrens patterns and one was a peice that looked symmetrical until you tried to fold it. It was a quarter inch off from being symmetrical...
