To try to save it or not to try..... I tossed it

So at our last house we had an issue for a little bit of cat pee (yuck). Well i pulled out my scrap blanket that i hadn't worked on in a while. It has cat pee essence :-( So i am trying to decide whether or not i should try to get the smell out or just toss it. It is going to be a twin size and i have about 3 feet done on it. It is just done with my scrap homespun yarn so its no big deal. I was just going to donate it to this homeless guy that was near my therapist. But that was when we lived in Colorado. So torn!

I just tossed it. I have enough projects and pleanty of other things to keep me busy. Plus for a week I have been doing 2-5 loads of laundry, I don't want to wash another thing lol. Thanks ladies!

I would throw it out. Cat pee never goes away! I just threw out a suitcase that I tried cleaning for a week. NOTHING worked. Oh well....

Knits hold the smell the worst but white vinegar will usually work.

Its crochet. But i would assume it holds it the same. If i do try i was going to use vinegar. Its the only thing i found that works on regular things

White vinegar and squeeze real lemons into the laundry load. Or even let it soak in a bath of water, vinegar, and squeezed lemons. Put the leftovers in too.
