I'm wanting to put together a cookbook with recipes from my friends and family. I would like it very much if you crafty ladies would be willing to contribute. Once I have the recipes and such together, I will give everyone that contributes a copy.

This is my mom's recipe
Potato and Sausage Soup
6 c potatoes, chopped
5 c water
2 c onions, chopped
1/2 c celery, chopped fine
1/2 cup carrots, sliced thin
1/4 cup butter or margarine
4 tsp chicken bouillon
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 can evaporated milk
3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 lb italian sausage links, cooked and sliced 1/4 in
Chives, as garnish
In a large crockpot, combine the first 9 ingredients. Cook on high for 7 hours or until vegetables are tender. Stir in milk and parsley. Cook the sausages in a frying pan until done. Slice and add to crockpot. Heat through.
*12 oz of regular milk can be used instead of evaporated milk.
This tastes almost exactly like Olive Garden's potato and sausage soup.
