If you scrapbook, where do you buy your materials. I found some things I can buy on Wal-mart and Amazon, but it's all going to equal about $100. I have nothing to scrapbook with so I have to buy the paper trimmer and cardstock and albums, etc. I was just wondering if anyone had any places where you can get things a little cheaper.

Any tricks or tips?

I do digital scrapbooking, much cheaper. In my opinion.

You can try ebay for some cheaper things. I've bought a few things there that were cheaper.

I usually shop the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby. Also, most craft stores have great coupons...so be sure to use them :)

Coupons, yard sales, craft sales, online sales (craigslist), and craft trades.

I'd start with card stock, a paper trimmer, and adhesive. I've learned to make a lot of my own embellishments (stickers aren't my cup of tea).
It can get really expensive, but it can also be fun to upcycle and DIY.
Check out Pinterest for ideas.

I buy best price but will not waste money on crap. That's why I only buy Creative Memories albums. I still only buy them on sale / clearance.

Hobby lobby, walmart or michaels. You can look on ebay for cheap deals!

Do you have any friends who scrapbook and already have some of the tools? You could have a scrap booking play date if they have kids and both work on projects while the kids play
