Need Help!

I'm trying to crochet a headband. It calls for a long chain then join. When I do this and start the pattern it starts to twist. Can anyone please tell me how to prevent this. Thanks in advance.

fingers crossed

Turning will help with the curling. As long as you are going into the stitch in the same place/correct place, it will work itself out the more rounds you do. You could possibly be crocheting too tightly also; either loosen your stitch, or go up a hook size.

when i corchet a headband I just make it as wide as I want and then crochet on top of that until its long enough and then join. Foudn it easier.
