What's been your biggest investment for your crafting?
For a single item, this DMC floss cabinet. I found it advertised in a stitching magazine in 1999. They only made 2,000, and it cost me ~$350, I think. I told Dh he just bought me an early birthday present.
It's about 17 inches tall in cherry wood. There's a way to add stitching to the door panels, but I never got around it it.
The trays are the best part! I didn't pull it out all the way, but there's a row behind this one.
DMC came out with some new floss colors later, so there's a drawer with a bunch of unlabeled spaces, and another drawer at the bottom is a tray without slots.
My sewing machine
My sewing machine...though I have some items that would have been more expensive if I had bought them new (I stole the desk that my husband had from before we met and got another desk free...most of my fabric was free as was most of my yarn and the boxes to house it...)
I would say for beading all the swarovski crystals I have.
for loom knitting it's my looms. Without them I can't do it lol
Yarn, and paint
my sewing machine and circuit machine are the top single item costs! But the volumes of scrapbooking paper and supplies are the biggest total investment.
